SNEAK PEAK

Aside

Hey ya’ll, got some good stuff comin’ your way just like I promised! Jenna and I went on a photoshoot and I KNOW you won’t be disappointed, so be ready!

HOW TO STUD CLOTHING

OKAY!

Here’s a project I did, and I’m going to warn you. Be PREPARED for your fingers to be aching the rest of the day, to get gnarly scratches, and to be physically EXHAUSTED. BUT, in the end, you have a bad ass pair of pants and that alone is 100% worth it.

Here’s what you need:

A badass pair of acid wash pants or shorts! (I chose pants that I found at Family Thrift, and turned them into shorts)

A butterknife, or a pair of plyers might work too. Anything with a sharp end!

Some badass awesome music to help you get through this task!

A badass studded belt.

OKAY! Take the knife and bend back the two brackets so that they are sticking straight up.

Pop it out. This may take some prying if the belt you used is made of a strong material.

Choose where you want the studs! push the brackets into the fabric and press the brackets back down. Make sure they’re closed in real good and tight.

And waa-lah! I did half of the pocket and I finished it last night! Go out, buy some awesome shorts, shirts, jean jacket, whatever! Stud it and forever be known as a total badass!

SPRING TIME

I always found Nick’s Kid Show to be extremely creepy, or just weird, or just not fun at all. But this grown-up seems to be having a good time. Atleast somebody is!

KNICK-KNACK

Something I am 100% absolutely and compeltely crazy about: Kiwanis!

Kiwanis is a neighborhood organization, and I’m sure most of you have seen their thrift stores around town! Let me tell you, THEY ARE AWESOME.

Not only do they have weird little knick-knacks, but they have records, cameras, dress patterns, furniture, and most importantly, clothes!

If you want to find a truly one-of-a-kind and unique piece of clothing, go there, and go now!

Wanna know the coolest thing about Kiwanis?

Everybody that works there is a volunteer, and the money you spend there goes straight to charity, and better yet, helps improve your neighborhood. And you get super cute clothes, duhhh. The possibilities are endless!

And on top of all of that, they’ll come to your house and pick up pieces of furniture, clothes, you name it!

So help your community, find some cute clothes, and give back to your neighborhood. Go go go!

ps. you can also barter there, if you try hard enough, they’ll significantly lower the price on more expensive items. I got my Pentax film camera, 3 lenses, lense filters, cleaners, AND film for just $20. You can’t beat that!
